In India, Amazon to Invest $ 3 Billion by 2030
Much of the investment will go towards expanding Amazon Now's network of small warehouses located closer to customers

According to a Business Today report, Amazon India, one of the largest e-commerce companies, will invest $ 3 billion in India by 2030 to expand its quick commerce business. After the quick commerce concept entered the Indian e-commerce market, the game has eventually changed; consumers have shifted towards quick commerce. Datum Intelligence report argues that the quick commerce market is currently valued at $ 19 billion and by 2030 expected to grow to $ 41 billion. Amazon is planning to spend $ 1 billion by the end of 2027 and another $ 2 billion by 2030. The company focuses on expanding its small warehouse network to improve customers’ experience. Currently, Amazon operates around 750 stores and is targeting to expand the number to around 1300 by April next year, according to a Business Today report. The report also argues that the company plans to spend funds to improve AI tools and inventory management, also focus on daily essentials products, and does not plan to stock unrepeated products right now in Amazon Quick Commerce.
